Our industrial partners

Industrial partnerships are the main aspect of the IHUs

Industrial partnerships are a main part of the scientific, technological and clinical programs. They combine public and private research efforts to accelerate the transfer process from research discoveries to make these technologies available for patients.

The Clinical Research Centre for Innovative Technologies (CRC-TI) of Bordeaux University Hospital/Inserm is dedicated to Biomaterials and Implantable Medical Devices since 2001. The CRC‐TI is an interface for medical research valorization, aiming to make the proof of concept of technological innovation: its abilities take place between fundamental and clinical research in Biomaterials, Medical Devices and Tissue Engineering fields. The CRC-TI is located in a scientific and clinical relevant environment, and has access to specialized facilities that are mandatory for the design and realization of appropriate experimental models and in agreement with French and European regulations. The CRC-TI proposes also to design and set up pilot clinical trials for first patients’ implantations of innovative biomaterial and tissue engineered products.

The French Micra Academy (Medtronic Training for the Micra TPS pacemaker implantation techniques) opened last december at Liryc.

Through innovation and collaboration, Medtronic improves the lives and health of millions of people each year. Learn more about its technology, services and solutions..
