Training for the jobs of tomorrow

One of the missions of the Liryc institute is to spread knowledge resulting from research, both basic and clinical, to as many people as possible, thereby enabling the optimal care of patients throughout the world.

A wide variety of audiences

Aimed at a wide variety of audiences, Liryc has put together a training offer for:

  • Master’s students from various disciplinary backgrounds.
  • Postgraduate students pursuing a science doctorate.
  • Healthcare students.
  • Students in engineering school.
  • Paramedical personnel.
  • Doctors.
  • Professionals from the pharmaceutical industry and medical devices.
  • The general public.

All training programmes offer participants the opportunity to acquire knowledge, expertise and skills in cardiology to meet the requirements of the professions of tomorrow.

Multidisciplinary training

Liryc offers innovative training provided by internationally renowned experts, who combine a theoretical and practical transversal approach in the field of cardiac electrophysiology.

Like Liryc’s research programme, the courses address electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm disorders with a strong interdisciplinary and translational dimension, combining the skills of experts in the fields of cardiac physiology, electrophysiology, high-resolution mapping, cardiac imaging, signal processing, cardiac modelling, patient care and digital medicine.

At the forefront of innovation

Liryc’s training courses, provided in research and patient care settings, are based on unique research and innovation platforms dedicated to the study of cardiac arrhythmias, including hybrid formats available on a digital platform and learning by simulation.

The simulation training component concerns both initial training and continuing education. It is based on the deployment of a simulation platform that is unique in the world, which virtually recreates professional situations for an immersive, interactive and collaborative approach to the training of healthcare professionals.

To support the growth of training activities, Liryc is also deploying new innovative tools and equipment:

  • Digital training and the “cardiocases” digital library developed by university hospital institute cardiologists in partnership with Stimuprat.
  • A distance learning training platform “Liryc Education”, which integrates varied and interactive training content in the field of electrophysiology, and more specifically ablation and cardiac pacing.
